Our Thrift Stores in Glenwood Springs, Rifle, and Parachute provide the community with just that, while also providing a place for folks to donate their gently used items thus reducing the landfill impact.

When the items you donate to LIFT-UP are sold, the money helps the families in need within our community achieve the strength, stability, and independence they need to build a better future.

DONATIONS: Our LIFT-UP Thrift Stores in Rifle and Glenwood Springs are also great places to bring your quality, gently used clothing, small furniture, and other household items. Donations are tax-deductible. You may request an in-kind receipt for all donations.
The LIFT-UP Thrift Stores accept small and large donations of new or gently used clothing, shoes, housewares, home décor, and more. Proceeds from the sales of these items help LIFT-UP’s work from Parachute to Aspen. On behalf of the many thousands of individuals who benefit from the generosity of people like you, thank you, for your consideration and donations. We are open Tuesday – Saturdays from 10am to 5pm.
We accept donations Tuesdays – Thursdays – Saturdays 10a-3pm. Our donation area in Rifle is located outside at the rear of our store. And in Glenwood Springs in the lower level at the loading dock. Look for the signs.
We are not able to pick up donations currently.

We research and price our items fairly to give you the best bargains possible. It isn’t our policy to negotiate with our customers.
We offer a 10% Senior discount for guests age 65+.
Yes, they are. When you drop off your donations, please ask for a donation receipt.
The cashier will provide a price for you.
Customers are not allowed in the processing area for items to be priced or for any other reason.
We will make two phone calls within a week after your purchase to contact you. If we haven’t heard from you, or if you mention that it will take longer than one week to pick up the item, we will return the item to the sales floor and you will forfeit your money.
Yes, you certainly may! We often use these donations to help us improve the quality of our store. We appreciate your help!
100% of the LIFT-UP Thrift Store proceeds support LIFT-UP’s programs & services.
Cleaning out, down-sizing, or just getting organized? Whatever your project, don’t let the items you no longer need end up in your local landfill. Our thrift store diverts tons of potential waste from landfills each year, accepting items including household good, tools, small furniture, and clothing.
LIFT-UP Thrift Stores will accept gently used items that can be resold. We cannot accept certain items because of liability risks, safety or hazardous waste concerns, or disposal costs if items aren’t resold. We may also turn down donations that are in poor condition.
