LIFT-UP is fortunate to be supported by numerous partners, all of whom make a significant difference in helping LIFT-UP reach its goal of being the leader in providing equitable food security for individuals and families: educating, building understanding, and support to end hunger from Parachute to Aspen.
Last year, their support through funding, volunteering, and running of food drives, helped us to serve nearly 100,000 individuals and over 30,000 families. LIFT-UP believes access to fresh, healthy, and sustainable food provides hope and empowerment, strengthening our community. Working together with our community and business partners and thirty local farmers and ranchers, we have been able to secure over 600,000 lbs. of fresh food that help feed those dealing with food insecurity as well as support the local farming economy, while also reducing the carbon footprint within our community.
The ongoing support we receive from our community and business partner is essential if we are to continue to support those in need. Without this continued support, it would be increasingly hard for LIFT-UP to provide the necessary support for those dealing with food insecurity
